After work yesterday, I got to roll over to the Pelicans' ball park and be a judge for their national anthem contest.  It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be...not from a stand point of judging talent, more from a don't laugh or smile if it's really bad.  There were some that were great and one or two, not so much.  I do give everyone credit for getting out there and singing.  I wouldn't have done it.  Several people from yesterday will now get to sing the anthem before a home game during the season.  Maybe even before a game on a KZQ night at the ballpark.  Oh yeah, I even made it on to the news. If I knew I was going to be on TV, I might have tried and look a little better.  Watch it by clicking the picture.
