Last night in NYC Carnegie Hall had different group of artists playing there than you might expect. Member of The National and New Order along with Iggy Pop and Patti Smith played the 24th annual Tibet House U.S. benefit. It's an annual event that helps raise money for the nonprofit group that helps preserve Tibetan culture.
Iggy joined Bernard Sumner of New Order and other bandmates for a couple of Joy Division songs as well as Iggy's "Nightclubbing". Other artist there were Patti Smith who coverd Lou Reed's "Perfect" day as well as Philip Glass and Surjan Stevens. Check out some fan video footage.
