Kendrick Lamar is not just hip hop anymore. After working with Imagon Dragons at the Grammy's he has teamed up with Tame Impala for a remix of "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards", but just titled "Backwards". It's set to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming film "Divergent". Check it out below.
Way back in 1992 R.E.M. was begining to not only be known by you, but also your Mom. "Automatic For The People" was out and the day before the Grammy's where they were nominated for 7 awards, Mike Mill did a very akward interview and played "(Don't Go Back To) Rockville" on Live! with Regis & Kathy Lee.
Good news for Bob Mould fans (like ME!!!)...Bob will release his 11th studio album via Merge Records on June 3 called "Beauty & Ruin". Once again he will be joined on the album by Superchunk drummer John Wurster and former Verbow frontman Jason Narducy as his band. Bob is currently out touring the 25th Anniversery of his debut solo album "Workbook". Last night he was at The Ed Sullivan Theater as a guest on the The Late Show With David Letterman where he played "See A Little Light"...enjoy.
We have all been guilty of having tickets to a show and not knowing who the opening band is...so we stay at the bar for a few more drinks instead of going in. Then once you get in you hear people talking about how great the opening band was. DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE TONIGHT!!! If you are going to see Switchfoot at House Of Blues tonight, make sure you are there to see Kopecky Family Band. I saw them last year in Austin during SXSW and they were GREAT! They have played all the major festivals, songs have been in many commercials and TV shows and you can check them out here playing on Leno. Again...don't sit at the bar during this set...you bought the tickets...use them!!!
